March 10: Sustainable Innovation Fair
Instart'up is organising the Sustainable Innovation Fair on 10 March at the INSA in Strasbourg, from 1pm to 7pm. This is an opportunity to meet startups and SMEs involved in sustainable innovation, and why not join them in their eco-responsible approach.
 

12 April: Innovation Day Upper Rhine
For this first trinational event, 12 Upper Rhine universities and 100 partner companies invite you to a full day of exchanges, knowledge sharing and meetings on technology transfer in the Upper Rhine area. 
Free of charge, registration required. From 11:00 to 17:30. At the Palais Universitaire in Strasbourg. 

During this event, you can also find the Deeptech Tour in Strasbourg.
PhD students and students are invited to discover new opportunities for your studies and your future career around the theme of deeptech. 
 

Hackathon 

25 to 27 March: Hacking Health Camp
The Hacking Health Camp, the largest hackathon specialising in health innovation in France. This new 2022 edition will take place as a hybrid event with online content (conferences, interviews, workshops, replays) and a 100% face-to-face hackathon in Strasbourg over three days, from Friday evening to Sunday evening. 

Don't miss the last free online preparation workshop on Tuesday 15 March at 7.30pm!

Call for projects


Tango&Scan
The Tango&Scan call for projects is a financial support scheme that encourages a creative or digital sector player to meet with a player from another sector of activity to carry out a joint innovative project*.
28 March to 6 May 2022: submission of applications online 
7 June 2022: Tango&Scan jury in Strasbourg

Entrepreneurship competition

Les Jeunes Pousses GO FOR GOOD
Galeries Lafayette Strasbourg supports young designers with the "Les Jeunes Pousses GO FOR GOOD" competition. 
The aim of this competition is to find and encourage young local and committed brands in the field of fashion, beauty and home whose products respect the GO For Good specifications. 
Deadline: 10 April 2022

Challenge Mature PhD
Created by SATT Conectus in partnership with Alsace's research establishments and universities, the Mature your PhD Challenge is intended for 2nd or 3rd year PhD students. It allows them to take a step towards the world of entrepreneurship and why not participate in the creation of a startup.

Sustainable Innovation Competition
As part of the Instart'up trade fair (see above), it is also possible to take part in the Sustainable Innovation Competition, which rewards entrepreneurial projects based on the theme of sustainable development. See you in 2023 for the next edition!  

 

National student-entrepreneur status 

If you want to be an entrepreneur during your studies, the student-entrepreneur status allows you to continue your studies while being supported during your project by a Pétite structure (see below). More information on the student-entrepreneur status.

Pépite Etena is aimed at all students and/or young graduates interested in entrepreneurship and the startup world in Alsace.


Alsace Tech
Alsace Tech is an association that has been federating the 14 major engineering, architecture, art, design and management schools in Alsace since 2007. One of its objectives is to coordinate the creation of modules and courses to develop entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation processes and to accompany the changes towards the factory of the future.
 

La Ruche à Projets 
La Ruche à Projets is the entrepreneurial centre of EM Strasbourg Business School which functions as a real incubator. It supports students with an entrepreneurial spirit around the following themes: ethics, sustainable development and diversity to the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
