University of Strasbourg

The courses on offer (bachelor's, master's and doctorate) cover virtually all disciplines: arts, humanities, languages - law, economics, management and political and social sciences - humanities and social sciences - sciences, technologies - health. 

A centre of excellence in fields such as biology, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemistry and the physics of materials, the university also plays a significant role in the development of research in the humanities and social sciences, and is home to a number of renowned researchers and Nobel Prize winners.

The excellence of the University of Strasbourg has been recognised nationally and internationally by the award of the Initiative of Excellence (IdEx) label. This enables it to benefit from special funds to finance innovative projects for the benefit of the entire university community.

Alsace tech network

Since 2007, the Alsace Tech network has been an association of the 14 leading engineering, architecture, art, design and management schools in Alsace, based in Mulhouse and Strasbourg. 
They have chosen to join forces to present their courses with a single voice and set up joint projects: links with businesses, support for innovation, cross-border initiatives, etc.

"Talents" : These classes enable students eligible for a higher education grant on social criteria and jobseekers to prepare for the various senior civil service competitive entrance exams. 

"Docteurs" : concours externe réservé aux titulaires d’un doctorat dans la spécialité "Sciences de la matière et de l’ingénieur".

The Service de la vie universitaire - Mission handicap (University Life Service - Disability Mission) is there to answer any questions you may have about specific assistance for continuing your studies if you have a disability.

The government has also developed a dedicated website, Mon Parcours Handicap, which provides information, guidance and services for people with disabilities and their families.
