Strasbourg is a dynamic city with plenty of opportunities for going out at night. Here are some tips for going out in tranquillity.
Night transport network
The bus and tram network :
- From 8pm to midnight
- Tram, every 15 to 20 minutes until 0.30 am
Hibus, night bus :
- Night buses run from 00:30 to 5:00
- A bus every hour
- Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday (including public holidays)
- New itineraries since January 2026 to serve new areas, in particular Kehl, Hoenheim and the XV district!
Descent on request :
- For women travelling alone or accompanied by young children
- You can get off between two stops
- Every evening from 10pm until the end of the service
- On line C8 between the "Pont Saint Nicolas" and "Neuhof Stockfeld" stops
Organising student evenings
If you want to organise a student evening, it's a great initiative, but there are a few rules you need to know before you get started. More information on etudiant.gouv.fr.
Risk prevention
Always keep an eye on your friends and do not hesitate to report suspicious behaviour to nightclub managers. And remember to keep an eye on your drinks when you're out and about.
