In Strasbourg, students have multiple solutions to eat well on a budget. Find out all about them on this page!
Resto'U and Crous cafeterias
- 9 university restaurants and 12 cafeterias managed by the le Crous de Strasbourg
- Open to all students studying in higher education
- Accessible with your Mon Pass Campus card or your Izli account.
- Other university restaurants: Le stift and the FEC.
- Consult the the calendar of Resto'U and cafeteria openings.

Meals at social rates for students without grants
Non-scholars with proven financial difficulties can apply for the €1 rate.
To make this request: make an appointment with a Crous social worker.
A second meal with Restos U'
All students can ask for a second takeaway meal when they come to the RU (up to a limit of 2 meals per day at the social rate).

A number of associations are helping students in great difficulty to access food.
Below is a list of initiatives specifically aimed at students and young people.

- Les Agoraé de l’AFGES: social groceries based on social criteria, with products at 10% of the normal purchase price
- Les Compagnons de l’Espoir: distribution of food baskets every Sunday in Place de l'Université
- Association étudiante COP1: distribution of food hampers open to all, but only on registration
- Le Secours Populaire: drop-in sessions at Unistra's Mission Solidarité offices, a monthly distribution of food and the visit of a foodtruck to the various campuses;
- L’Etage - Club de jeunes:breakfasts, lunches and dinners at solidarity rates for young people with no means of support
- Regards solidaires : distribution of food baskets every Saturday at ARES, on registration.
