Events during the Europe Day 2022

> 5 and 6 May:  ESocial Economy, the future of Europe "L'Economie sociale, le futur de l’Europe"
During the two days, you will find: a podcast bar, a time for young people to express themselves (testimonies, debates with elected officials, expression walls), a house of the future dedicated to the actors of the circular economy or a climate fresco animated by a collective of Graffeurs.  Free event on registration here

> 6 to 28 May: Eurobus 
The association of Young Europeans of Strasbourg in partnership with the European Movement Alsace and the Centre Europe Direct Strasbourg, with the support of the City and the Eurometropole of Strasbourg, offers you to meet the Eurobus on several stages for the Festival of Europe 2022:
> 6 and 7 May: at the Strasbourg Eurometropole races, Place Kléber in the Race Village on Friday 6 May from 11am to 7pm and on Saturday 7 May from 11am to 3.30pm. 
> 15 May: at the Jardin des Deux Rives from 2pm to 5pm

> 7 May: March for l’Europe
This march is part of the programme of the Strasbourg Summit which will bring together, from 5 to 8 May 2022, all representatives of European civil society. Departure from Place Kléber at 4pm  

> 14 May: European Museum Night
Guided or unguided tours, workshops, exhibitions in the museum of Strasbourg.From 7pm to midnight. 

> 21 and 22 May: European Parliament simulation 

For two days, about 150 young people aged 16 to 35 are invited to the headquarters of the Eurometropole of Strasbourg to debate on different subjects concerning Europe and to better understand the functioning of the European Parliament. Registration here and more infos here

> 21 May: Europe Night 

Sciences Po Strasbourg offers exhibitions, film screenings (fiction and documentary), debates related to the major political, socio-economic, cultural and geopolitical issues of Europe, as well as the Europolar festival. Free event from 5.30 pm to midnight at Cardo 

>  15, 25 and 29 may: Guided tours of the European quarter with Lieu d'EuropeUntil 14 August, the Lieu d'Europe is offering tours in French, English or German of the European quarter with a presentation of the emblematic places and the European institutions.

> 7 May: International Mobility Awareness Village - Stands to exchange with people who have gone on a mobility trip - Saturday all day, at the Water Point in Ostwald

Orchestra of Strasbourg University

Aurore Symphonique rincludes 3 concerts with Scandinavian flavours under the direction of its guest conductor Eric Staiger:
> 4 May - 8.30 pm at the Espace culturel des Sept Arpents in Souffelweyersheim.
> 11 May - 8.30pm at the auditorium of the Cité de la Musique et de la Danse in Strasbourg.

The return of the terraces and outdoor events

> From 6 May: Reopening of La Grenze
A large cultural terrace, La Grenze invites you to enjoy the summer with concerts, dj sets, artistic workshops, sports activities, a bar and small restaurants. 
> 14 May: Orée océan makes waves

Orée océan opens its doors and offers various activities: costume and face painting stand, a quiz, a concert by Café Aman and you can also eat and have an ice cream if you feel like it. Free event from 3pm to midnight with a limited capacity of 300 people. Meeting point: 32 Impasse de l'Écluse, 67200 Strasbourg

> 21 et 22 May: Springtime in the forest - discover the region by train 
From Strasbourg, discover the forest along the Strasbourg - Saint-Dié-des-Vosges railway line and the cycle track. Meet the professionals of the Valley and their know-how with visits, exhibitions, conferences, animations, games, films, etc. 
Free access to the events (except specific mention)
Exceptional TER fare of 5€ per person during the two days. Tickets can be purchased from 9 May onwards online or at regional ticket machines (DBR)

 This is the annual event for urban sports enthusiasts and professionals, with many activities and an Off Event  to enjoy the NL Contest for longer.

> 26 au 29 May: Festival Pelpass 2022

Events of the Crous and the University of Strasbourg

> 03 May: BOOST Workshop

In order to enhance your skills and exchange with professionals, meet at l'Escarpe at 6pm.  Event proposed by the Crous de Strasbourg, the University Life Service and the Animafac association. Registration required and subject to availability

> 05 May: bicycle self-repair stand from 5pm to 7pm at the Cité U' Robertsau, open to all 

> 9 et 10 May: The" Rencontre de toutes les danses" is an event that offers battles and demonstrations of dances from all horizons, followed by the dance final. Free event with registration here. At the Pokop, doors open at 7.40pm

Event organised by the Association Accélérateur de particules, will allow you to see how artists evolve and create all this in different atmospheres, aperitifs, snacks, music, concerts.... 
> 13 May: Open Workshops opening 6pm to midnight
An opportunity to meet the 40 artists installed in the old fortifications of the City of Strasbourg: Open workshops until 10pm and in the courtyard of the ramparts until midnight: a mini-festival with a series of concerts, performances and foodtrucks. At Bastion 14, 1 rue du Rempart.

> 5 May: What alternatives to private property? Proposing a mode of governance that is more respectful of natural resources, and the idea of renewing the relationship with living beings by providing for new uses and protection requirements. 
> 12 May: A Vosges observatory as an environmental sentinel The mid-mountain territories have undergone profound sociological and environmental changes over the last century. The OHGE is an environmental sentinel located on the Vosges massif (Aubure) which has been recording climatic, hydrological and geochemical variables since 1986. These data allow the development of numerous scientific projects: the impact of climate change, acid rain, forestry or pest attacks on these ecosystems. Games and Le Shadok offer you the opportunity to meet developers and test the games that will be presented and give your opinion! 7pm-10.30pm
> 14 and 21 May: Wom X - Who wants to mix 
A 100% female event (and more broadly a transgender and non-binary audience) to teach you the basics of DJing and create a track from scratch! 2h30 from 1pm to 3.30pm or 4pm to 6.30pm. A panel discussion (7pm - 8:30pm) and an open deck (8:30pm - 10:30pm) are offered.

Carte culture

Thanks to your student card, which is also your culture card, you can benefit from preferential rates in theatres, cinemas and access to festivals. You can also get free admission to museums all year round!

Carte atout voir

The annual Atout Voir card, worth €7, allows students from establishments not covered by the Carte Culture agreement and young people aged between 11 and 25 who are not students and who live or go to school in the Eurometropole to benefit from preferential rates for their cultural activities.
