A second meal with Restos U'
All students can ask for a second takeaway meal when they come to the RU (up to a limit of 2 meals per day at social rates). Don't hesitate to ask for yours on Friday evening! All the information on the Crous de Strasbourg website.
Specific temporary assistance
If you are experiencing serious temporary financial difficulties, you can apply for specific one-off, personalised assistance which will be paid by the Crous.

Local associations
Afges
The AGORAé of the Afges association provides assistance, mainly food, to students in financial difficulty (on social criteria). Registration is open until the end of May. The grocery shop is scheduled to close for the summer around mid-June. More information here.
Caritas
Perm’Campus : For all students in Strasbourg who have difficulties, every Thursday from 1 to 4.30 pm at 43 rue Goethe. Information and contact.
Caritas also offers you various emergency food aids such as
- a breakfast reception every morning at the Arc-en-Ciel office in Strasbourg, from 8.30 to 9.30 am from Monday to Saturday.

Reduced price circuits
In this article you will find more than 35 direct farm sales outlets and more than 80 distribution outlets, some of which offer baskets at solidarity prices for students, such as les Jardins de la Montagne Verte, le Jardin de Marthe, or l’Ilot de la Meinau.

You want to eat more organic and local products without spending too much money? Contact the association VRAC Strasbourg Eurométropole, which sells very good quality products at a lower cost. More info here.

Secours Populaire du Bas-Rhin
The Secours Populaire, in partnership with Abribus, will be organising a summer distribution from Wednesday 13/07 to Sunday 21/08 from noon to 2pm. Full cold meal to take away or to eat on the site. More information will be available soon on their website.

Unsold food from markets and bakeries
You can drop by at the end of the markets or before the bakeries close to get products at a reduced price!

Anti-waste apps
Anti-waste applications such as Too Good To Go or Phenix allow you to buy unsold food from local shops at a good price.
