Strasbourg aime ses étudiants

"Strasbourg aime ses étudiants" is a programme, carried out by the City & Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, that welcomes, informs and connects students. It aims to facilitate student integration, as well as help students explore the European capital's advantages through organizing free events at the beginning of the academic year and providing useful information in regards to the services, infrastructure, major actors, events, etc., that will contrubute to making the time spent studying in Strasbourg a wonderful, enriching experience all year round!

WELCOME

September - October: students are welcomed. The City and the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg are present at the guichet multiservices de l'Agora (multiservice centre of the back-to-school Agora) of the University of Strasbourg in order to inform you personally about the services you can get: e.g. preferential public transport fares, or subscriptions within the network of media libraries, as well as cultural venues, thanks to the Carte culture, etc. It's also the perfect spot to pick up some "Strasbourg aime ses étudiants" goodies, as well as the back-to-school programme with a great deal of free events!

Numerous events available for free to students are offered year-round by the Museums of Strasbourg, the Conservatory of Strasbourg, Médiathèque Malraux , the Shadok,  The Office des Sports many student and cultural organisations and associations, and more.

PROMOTING STUDENT LIFE

The City and the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg have been supporting the actions of the key actors in student and university life - the University of Strasbourg, the CROUS, umbrella student associations - for many years. This support comes in several forms:

• participation in various bodies (Boards of Directors, Commission d'Aide aux Projets Étudiants/CAPE)
• provision of facilities and equipment
• provision of public spaces
• financial support for collaborative projects.
