8 January: 21st edition of the Strasbourg Higher Education Fair
Studyrama is once again organising its Higher Education Fair at the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg. Come and discover exhibitors from the Strasbourg region and the whole of France in all sectors of activity: Art, Sport, Management, Engineering, Digital, Commerce, Marketing, Luxury, Health, Sciences...
21 and 22 January: University and Post-Baccalaureate Training Day (JU) online exhibition!
The JU presents nearly 700 courses. More than 150 exhibitors related to higher education are present at this fair. High school students can meet teachers and students from the courses that interest them (bachelor's degrees, university bachelors of technology (BUT), advanced technician's degrees (BTS), engineering schools, preparatory classes, etc.), prepare for their future life as a student (accommodation, grants, catering, sports or cultural activities, etc.) or find out about study abroad opportunities. In addition, counsellors will be on hand to answer students' questions in the guidance area, which is made up of advice points and the ONISEP stand.
The digital platform of the JU will be online, made available by the NORIA* project, at the beginning of the school year in January 2022 and will continue to be available for consultation several months afterwards!

Cultural events
The network of media libraries in Strasbourg offers a rich and varied programme throughout January. Take part in workshops, shows, exhibitions, reading clubs, training courses, etc.
15 January: Guided tour of the exhibition Musical Manuscripts until 19 Feb. at the Médiathèque André Malraux
Until 16 January: Exhibition of the Unexpected East, from the Rhine to the Indus
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the University and the National and University Library of Strasbourg, the exhibition L'Orient inattendu, du Rhin à l'Indus invites visitors to take a fresh look at the history of the city and the region from the perspective of relations with the East and more specifically with the lands of Islam.
Guided tours for individuals on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm, Saturdays at 11:00 am, by reservation on bnu.fr.
From 17 to 21 January: Bibliothèques idéales
At the Cité de la Musique et de la Danse, in the Médiathèques and bookshops, 40 events, major interviews, cross-meetings, readings and music. The Ideal Libraries want to show that the major political, social and cultural issues have an impact on the intimate lives of individuals. Taking possession of the public space, speaking out against injustice, taking back one's place thanks to contemporary mobilisations: this is the main theme of this edition of the Bibliothèques idéales in January.
20 January: Special student visit at the Palais Rohan from 8 pm to midnight.
A missing work, the shadow of a dancer, paintings that come to life, models in search of artists, an intriguing myth... Let yourself be surprised during an evening at the museum - specially imagined by students, for students! A keen sense of observation, a bit of creativity and a touch of humour will be needed to meet the challenges that await you... and, perhaps, solve the mystery!

From 20 to 23 January: Reading Night
Libraries, media libraries, bookshops, but also museums, theatres, schools and universities, penitentiary and medico-social structures, the network of French cultural establishments and French-speaking bookshops abroad, invite you, during four evenings, to share the pleasure of reading and the love of books!
- Concert: Freestyle Monday with Goldencut at the Olympe de Gouges media library: open stage with presentation of writing works and participation of the public.
- Love, a living art: a nightly stroll in Malraux every 20 minutes with the Bienvenu au Club collective, the Le Talon Rouge company and the Cie company. Reading of love letters by Antoine and Consuelo de Saint-Exupéry, musical space, DJ set
- Program: For several hours, the Littéranautes program offers a live broadcast on Twitch on the occasion of the Nuits de la lecture
- "Let's love each other again! Let's love each other again!" The Espace Collectif "La Ruche 35" offers stories that are told, created, invented and performed in the presence of authors.

Thanks to your student card, which is also your culture card, benefit from preferential rates in theatres, cinemas and access to festivals. You can also get free access to museums all year round!
Carte atout voir
The annual Atout Voir card, worth €7, allows students in institutions not covered by the Carte Culture agreement and young people aged 11 to 25 who are not students and who live or go to school in the Eurometropole to benefit from preferential rates for their cultural activities.
So, this year 2022 is starting out rather well, isn't it?
