Lockdown n°2 - Useful information for students

You will find below information and useful links to help you get through this difficult period, make your life easier during this very special time and many ways to stay in touch with other students in the Strasbourg area.

 

  • STUDY - REVIEW - KEEP IN TOUCH

Higher education institutions, Crous and research organisations remain open and continue to carry out their missions of teaching, research and student support, but mainly remotely, except for practical classes, exams... cf. info from your school.

Strasbourg National University Library (BNUS)

Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 2pm to 8pm.

Access to the library is via the Affluences platform for registration, borrowing and return of books, access to a work place or to a computer.

The « Forum d'Entraide Universitaire » " FEU " to exchange with other students from the University of Strasbourg.

G.L.U.E. is a space created to maintain the link between students and the University of Strasbourg

Students with disabilities

The  "Service de la vie universitaire  - Mission handicap" can be contacted by e-mail at: svu-hand@unistra.fr, a telephone appointment can be arranged on request.

 

  • FINANCIAL AID

Do not hesitate to contact a social worker (according to your field of study) in case of financial difficulties, by e-mail. Enclosing your school certificate, your mobile phone number and the reason for the request. In case of emergency: 03 88 21 28 48.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) and the CNOUS have a number for students experiencing financial difficulties and to find out information: 0 806 000 278 - open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, price of a local call, not surcharged.

 

  • PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT - HEALTH - PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

You are not alone

The health university service is open. Free general medical consultations are organised, you can make an appointment on Doctolib or by phone on 03 68 85 50 24. The "usual" consultations (gynaecology, screening and treatment of STIs, sports medicine, vaccinations, etc.) are maintained.

Stress, depression, need for support... contact the medical-psychological reception centre, CAMUS here: camus@unistra.fr; indicating your name, surname and social security number to have a free teleconsultation with a psychologist or psychiatrist.

CoviEcoute 67: psychological support unit by professionals on 03 88 11 62 20 from 12 noon to 8pm every day of the week and from 4pm to 8pm at weekends. You will find advice and addresses of local structures to help you.

This site is intended to help students take care of their psychological well-being during the second lockdown in due to the COVID-19 health crisis. You may be able to find a set of useful tips, as well as information about the various support services in english that are available in each academic region in France.

Physical activities, sport

It’s important to exercise in the open air, in a park and not far from your home (3 hours per day within a radius of 20 km of your home authorised with your exemption certificate filled) you can find also a Vitaboucles » course.

Activities to relax

The Crous offers various activities (online zumba classes, dietetic workshops, sophrology, yoga...) to relax and take your mind off things.

The student associations also help to keep the link and propose various actions online, such as ESN Strasbourg which still offers its language café, its team helpy (permanence to exchange on possible administrative and/or personal problems)... or  their account on Instagram or Discord 

AFGES also proposes lots of activities on Discord

  • FOOD

Take away in Resto'U

In the university restaurants of the Crous de Strasbourg during the lockdown, you will find take-away menus (no seated catering possible).

Do not forget to fill in a certificate of exceptional travel on the Ministry of the Interior's website, choosing the reason "travel to make purchases (...) of basic necessities".

Delivery

If you live in a university residence at Le Crous and you cannot come (because you are ill, quarantined, etc.) you can get lunch baskets from Le Crous, for delivery. To do so, contact them at: covid19@crous-strasbourg.fr.
