Paying your CVEC contribution

The CVEC is the Student Life and Campus Contribution collected by the Crous and amounts to €95 in 2022/23. It is intended to encourage the reception and social, health, cultural and sporting support of students.
Attention: it is compulsory (except in exceptional cases)!  Don't forget to bring your certificate of payment or exemption when you register at your institution. More info here

Getting around

Bus, tram and night lines: the subscription is free for the under 18s and a solidarity fare is set up for the over 18s according to the family quota. More information here

Strasbourg is the cycling capital of France. You will find different ways to get equip. ped at a lower cost. 

Bike rental: Velhop offers reduced rates for students starting from 48€ for 10 months (September to June).   

You can also buy one at a low price with Emmaüs Montagne Verte, Meli Melo or Savoir et compétences emploi for example, but also at the CADR67 bike fairs or those of Unistra at the beginning of the academic year on the university campus.
